Founding Beta Privacy Policy

This policy explains the limited data collected through the Norn Founding Beta application flow and how it is used to operate the beta safely.

1. Data collected for the application

Norn stores the information you submit in the public beta form together with technical records needed to operate the beta.

Name, email, optional company, optional website, role, referral source, and free-text workflow context.
Legal acceptance timestamps and technical policy version identifiers.
Locale and limited source or referrer metadata when available.

2. Why the data is used

Application data is used to review or process access, generate or reuse a beta code, send operational beta emails, and protect the public form from abuse.

The submitted email may be tied to a personal single-use access code.
Technical metadata may be used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
Free-text responses may be reviewed to understand product fit and usage context.

3. Beta-operational emails

Norn may send emails required to operate the beta, including access-code delivery and related retry or status notifications.

These emails are necessary for the beta workflow and are not hidden marketing consent.
The locale submitted with the application may be used to localize the invitation email.
Delivery status may be stored for reliability and support.

4. Sharing and retention

Norn uses service providers necessary to operate the product, such as email delivery infrastructure. Data is not shared more broadly than required to run the beta.

Operational email delivery may involve a third-party provider such as Resend.
Application records may be retained while the beta is active and for follow-up operational review.
Norn may remove or anonymize records when they are no longer needed.

5. Your choices

You can contact Norn regarding the data submitted through the Founding Beta form. Because the beta depends on operational email delivery, deleting or changing the applicant email may affect access handling.

You may request clarification about the information stored with your application.
Changes to the applicant email may require revalidation before beta access can continue.
